This article will explain the steps of specifying a glass door, include colonial style doors.
Glass insert style
First thing you need to do is specify what type of glass is going in the frame. Do this by adding a Glass Insert style.
Specifying glass frame for the door
By clicking the tickbox you are saying 'this door is to be a glass frame door.' If it is a 2 door cabinet, you will need to do this on both doors.
Additional glass door options
Click the menu button of the door and choose Add Accessory.
Add accessory pop up
Click Glass Options to view the possible accessories for glass doors.
Possible glass options
Glass Options
- 1 x Glass Window is used for a door that isn't going to be fitted with glass at Cabinets Online.
- 2 x Glass Window is used when you want the frame to be split in two. Please specify vertical or horizontal split in the accessory notes.
- 4 x Glass Window is used to create 4 equal splits.
- 6 x Glass Window is used to create 6 equal splits.
- Mirror Door is used when covering the face of the door in mirror (e.g. shaving cabinets). This accessory doesn't require you to tick the glass tickbox, for more information on ordering these click here.
Finished product
In the example I have shown a Wall 2 Door to illustrate that the accessory needs to be added to each door, rather than the quantity being adjusted.
