A Base Return Left 2 Door is constructed in a captive gable method, meaning that the gables are sitting on top of the bottom (see front view below), this method helps to distribute the weight evenly through the legs.
As the name suggests the cabinet returns left, meaning that the doors open on the left hand side. The right door is hinged using blind corner hinges which attach to the hinge plates located on the blind panel, while the left door is hinged off the left gable using the hardware specified at on the dimensions page.
As standard the Base Return Left 2 Door comes with 6 legs, an adjustable shelf, a back scribe, a blind panel and 2 doors. For instructions on modifying this cabinet please see below.
When placing this cabinet in a corner it is a good idea to leave it 16mm short of wall on the right hand side. If you go to Included Kits you will find - right "carcass only scribe" . This will leave the overall face size as ordered but reduce the carcass size by 16mm in width. see picture below
