A Base 2 Drawer Split is constructed in a captive gable method, meaning that the gables are sitting on top of the bottom (see front view below), this method helps to distribute the weight evenly through the legs . As seen below the 2 Drawer Split has 2 equal width drawers side by side.
As standard the Base 2 Drawer Split comes with 4 legs, a back scribe, 2 drawers ( whichever type is specified)and 2 drawer fronts. For instructions on modifying this cabinet please see below.
