A Base 5 Drawer Split is constructed in a captive gable method, meaning that the gables are sitting on top of the bottom (see front view below), this method helps to distribute the weight evenly through the legs . As seen below the 5 Drawer Split consists of 3 larger drawer to the bottom of the cabinet and 2 drawers evenly split on top .
As standard the Base 5 Drawer Split comes with 4 legs, a back scribe, 5 drawers ( whichever type is specified)and 5 drawer fronts. For instructions on modifying this cabinet please see below.
